The Detroit Tigers are a Major League Baseball Team in the American League. The ball club was founded in Detroit in 1894. They have won four World Series championships in 1935, 1945, 1968, and 1984.

Miguel CabreraEdit

Cabrera was traded to the Tigers in December of 2007 by the Floridia Marlins. He has had a great career thus far with Detroit. In 2012 he ended up winning the Triple Crown with an ending season of 44 home runs, 139 RBIs, and a .330 batting average. He became the first batter to win the Triple Crown in 45 years. The same year he was also awarded the AL Hank Aaron Award.
